TVR Classic Car Touch Up Paint

PaintNuts can mix original paint colours for TVRs using our latest colour match technology - in either touch up paint pens, pots or car spray paint.

We have the full range of classic TVR paint codes in our catalogues for all models, including the Tuscan, Griffith, Chimaera and S Series. All our colour match classic car paints are custom mixed to order.

This quirky and highly individualistic marque has also created the most interesting visual effects with its car paint, arguably some of the most amazing ever seen. Its much-loved Tuscan, Griffith and Chimaera models have equally stand out colours.

These include Imperial Blue Mica, Purple Paradise Metallic, Macau Yellow, Starmist Green and Firemist Blue – and we can mix them all.

Simply select your exact car paint code or colour name below, then the size of paint you require, and we will do the rest.

TVR paint code location

Classic car paint codes can be found in 1 or 2 of these common locations, though they are usually situated towards the front of the car:

  • Under the boot lid
  • On the door jamb or frame
  • In the door hinge
  • Under the bonnet
  • On the firewall
  • In the glove box
  • In the spare wheel well

TVR classic paint names

TVR classic car paint is the same as some other classic brand paint colours. This means the codes can be either a TVR code, an ICI or PPG equivalent, or the original make code (e.g. Porsche or Lotus).

A paint code is typically printed on a metal plate (the size of a wallet) or a sticker. It’s a combination of a letter and the format can vary widely:

  • 0060
  • 027
  • WQ8072
  • FH70
