Jensen Motors is a British sports car manufacturer (they also made commercial vehicles) founded in 1922. It  has ceased trading more than once - only to start up again!

It’s currently producing the Jensen Interceptor R in a range of colours including Lava Grigio, Rubino Red and Sage Green - updated colours for a classic brand. Original factory colours for the classic Jensen include Mustard, Metallic Fawn, Tangerine and Claret  – we can mix them all.

Classic car paint codes can be found in 1 or 2 of these common locations:

  • Under the boot lid
  • On the door jamb or frame
  • In the door hinge
  • Under the bonnet 
  • On the firewall
  • In the glove box
  • In the spare wheel well

Jensen classic paint codes

The paint code is typically printed on a metal plate (the size of a wallet) or a sticker. It’s a combination of a letter plus 2 to 3 numbers. Jensens vary and might look like:
